Cornelius is an 17" mixed media cloth doll.
For all skill levels.
He has a wood and wire armature, sculpted and painted mixed media head, cloth body, thread painted wool felt leaves, painted wooden box for the base and includes directions for creating his cute little crow baby companions!
You will learn many painting techniques usually associated with decorative painting to create his box base and to add the details, depths and highlights to his face.
Creating his facial features using paperclay.
How to safely carve his head.
Constructing a wire armature.
How to use various threads and basic machine stitching to add details.
Fun with felt.

Shoes, Boots, and More Shoes This class contains 180 pictures guiding you through each and every step! Class Outline Lesson 1- Leather Boots Lesson 2 - Dyeing Ribbon & Lace Lesson 3 - Simply Slippers Lesson 4 - Finishing Shoes Lesson 5 - Creating a mold Lesson 6 - Court Shoes Lesson 7 - Cloth High Heel Shoes Techniques taught in this class are: • Working with leather • Sewing a three dimensional leather, and fabric shoe • Adding layers of embellishments to give even more dimension • Working with Polymer clay to create the perfect heel • Mold making techniques • Hand dyeing rayon, or silk ribbon & thread • Silk ribbon embroidery work • Painting, and enhancing techniques for ready made shoes A really fun class worth every penny! Get whisked away with this imaginative tassel fairy. She makes a wonderful addition to your sewing room. I have one hanging right behind my sewing machine. This doll would also make a terrific gift, and imagine several scattered around your Christmas tree! Each week a new lesson will be posted in the classroom. The previous weeks lesson will remain up, so you can refer back to them at your convince.
