The average length of the hair is between 3 1/2 to 5 inches from the pelt. The length will vary per skin depending on what part of the hide the individual piece was cut from. Some skins have longer hair and shorter hair on the same piece. Sometimes the hair is curlier and sometimes it's straighter.

The dimensions for the skins applies only to the skin side of the Doll Hair. This is an example of what the back of the Doll Hair - Tibetan skin looks like. As you can see the hair actually extends several inches in each direction around the skin, so you end up with quite a bit of Doll Hair.
