Altered Fabric Art Doll Pins
Julie, and Ron gave me the most beautiful doll pin some time ago. I loved it so much I just had to create my own version of that pin. These became my Altered Fabric Art Doll Pins. I hope I did justice to Ron's original work. Thank you Julie and Ron for your inspiration!

My Altered Fabric Art Doll Pins© all feature Sterling Silver arms, and a free-form Sterling Silver swirl over the heart. Most of the pins have Czechoslovakian pressed glass and/or decorative glass beads for the heads and legs. Assorted fibers are used for the hair and Czech seed & faceted glass beading are hand sewn onto the pins body for that extra sparkle. The bodies are created out of what I call "Altered Fabric". This is OOAK hand-made fabric created using snippets of hand-dyed fabric, hand-dyed trims, threads & yarns all sewed together in a free-form style.
