Fabric Cloth Doll Textile Dye Samples Page

My Professional textile dyes can be used to create all sorts of Fiber Arts & Art Cloth Dolls!

Bellow you will find examples of 100% Rayon Lace colored with the dyes in each set. In the center is a bottle of white pearl. It can be mixed with the dye on the fabric, ribbon, or lace. *The white pearl is currently not available.

Dye Kits, Lace Samples & Brushes©

My fabric dyes are all Non Toxic, Permanent, and are Water Based. The dyes can be used to color

The dyes will become permanent after 24 hours without heat setting, or if you are in a hurry they can be speed set using a dry iron or by placing them in the dryer. *Set the iron at the highest setting for the lace, ribbon, or the fabric you are using. I recommend 100% Rayon lace. This type of lace has a very nice sheen, and accepts the dye beautifully. Wall Mart has this lace at the best price in my area. Don't discard Polyester/Rayon blends if that is what is available in your area, it dyes wonderfully also.

Below is just a small example of things you can do with my dyes. Dyed and Stamped cotton & silk fabrics and hand-painted rayon and cotton fibers were used together to create my Magic Motif/Fantasy Fiber Necklace below. Click Here for more information about this pattern.

"You know the "craft" doll market is in love with tea or coffee dying/staining but Tea and Coffee can be very damaging over time to the fabric. Coffee leaves an order, can attract bugs and will continue to darken with age. The acid will also cause a break down of the fibers over time. I have tried various methods of applying an antique finish to the fabric and I found the best results came from painting with very diluted amounts of Lisa's Tuscany dye set color #6 all over the doll. I got the doll good and wet, then by dipping the brush right into the undiluted dye I picked a few spots to scrub a touch of color into/onto the doll, and the results were fabulous!"

Imagine ©

Imagine is a brand new pattern available soon!

She was created to show how you can use my Tuscany dye set color #6 to antique or to create a vintage looking fabric. Imagine has a crazy quilted cloth body with a simple armature, quilted wings, sterling silver wire was used for the hair with assorted glass beads added for interest. Her face (stamp by Acey Deucy©) was stamped onto 67 lb. card stock, it was then colored with chalk pastels & pencils, and glued to a clear glass pebble. Seed beading is used to highlight her face & body. I printed words onto fabric to create her sash using my home computer and printer. The base is made out of hard wood, and I created the name plate by hand-stamping a piece of sterling silver. Hammered sterling silver wire charms were also used for added interest.
